PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION NOTICE
Last updated: October 2026
Potabella Studio respects the privacy of the children and families who join our programmes.
This notice explains how we collect, use and protect personal data in connection with our website, registrations, studio programmes and communications.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with Potabella Studio, we may collect information such as:
parent or caregiver name, email address and contact number;
child's name and age;
programme registrations, attendance and payment information;
information you choose to share about allergies, medical considerations or support needs relevant to your child's participation;
photography and video consent preferences;
photographs or videos where consent has been provided; and
information submitted through our website, registration forms or enquiries.
We only ask for information that is reasonably necessary for providing our programmes or managing our relationship with you. This reflects the PDPA's purpose-limitation principle. Personal Data Protection Commission
How We Use Your Information
We may use personal data to:
process and manage programme registrations and payments;
communicate with you about bookings and studio sessions;
manage attendance and make-up arrangements;
support your child's safe and comfortable participation;
respond to enquiries;
administer our programmes and studio operations;
maintain appropriate business records; and
where you have chosen to receive them, send occasional updates about Potabella Studio programmes, workshops and events.
We will not use personal data for unrelated purposes without notifying you and obtaining consent where required.
Children's Information
Because many of our programmes involve children, we take particular care with children's personal data.
Information about a child should be provided by their parent or legal guardian, or with the appropriate authority to do so.
We aim to collect only information reasonably necessary to enrol, support and safely facilitate the child's participation.
Photography & Video
We may photograph or record parts of the making process for studio documentation and, where consent has been provided, for Potabella Studio's website, social media or promotional communications.
Photography consent is collected separately during registration.
Choosing not to consent to identifiable photography or video does not affect your child's ability to participate in our programmes.
If you withdraw photography consent, this will apply to our continued use and future disclosure of the relevant personal data, subject to applicable legal and business requirements. Personal Data Protection Commission
Sharing of Personal Data
We do not sell personal data.
We may use trusted service providers where necessary to operate our business—for example, website, registration, email, payment or data-storage services.
Where personal data is handled on our behalf, we take reasonable steps to ensure that it is appropriately protected.
Where personal data is transferred outside Singapore, applicable PDPA requirements relating to overseas transfers will apply. Personal Data Protection Commission
How We Protect & Retain Information
We take reasonable measures to protect personal data in our possession or control against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure or similar risks.
We retain personal data only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes for which it was collected, or for legitimate business or legal purposes, after which it will be securely disposed of or anonymised where appropriate. These reflect the PDPA's Protection and Retention Limitation obligations. Personal Data Protection Commission
Access, Correction & Withdrawal of Consent
You may contact us to:
request access to personal data we hold about you or your child;
request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information; or
withdraw consent for particular uses of personal data.
Withdrawal of consent may affect our ability to provide a service where the information is necessary for that service. The PDPA provides for access and correction rights and allows individuals to withdraw consent with reasonable notice, subject to applicable exceptions. Personal Data Protection Commission
You may unsubscribe from optional marketing communications at any time.
