Booking & Studio Policies

We keep our studio groups small so children have space to explore, make and develop their ideas with thoughtful support.

Here are a few things to know before joining us.

Booking & Payment

Places are limited and confirmed upon payment.

Programme dates, times, fees and enrolment arrangements are stated on the relevant programme or booking page.

First Sessions

Where a First Session is offered, new children may begin with one session before deciding whether to continue.

If you choose to continue, the First Session fee will be credited towards the applicable multi-session experience or programme fee.

First Sessions are subject to availability and may not be offered for connected Design Experiences, camps or special workshops.

Multi-Session & Enrolment

Potabella programmes may be offered as individual sessions, multi-session experiences or term programmes.

Your booking includes the sessions stated at the time of enrolment. Where a validity period applies, this will be indicated when you book.

For term programmes, your child's place is reserved for the duration of the enrolled term.

Design Experiences

Within Design Studio, children encounter different Design Experiences — projects or briefs that may unfold over one or several sessions.

Where sessions are connected, registration is for the complete Design Experience unless otherwise stated.

Missed Sessions & Make-Ups

If your child cannot attend, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance.

Where another suitable session is available, we will try to arrange a make-up within the applicable booking period. Make-ups are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice and no-shows will generally be considered used sessions.

Connected Design Experiences, camps and special workshops may not be eligible for make-ups.

Illness

Please keep your child at home if they are unwell, particularly if they have a fever, vomiting, diarrhoea or symptoms of a contagious illness.

Let us know as early as possible and, where the programme format and availability allow, we will try to arrange a suitable make-up.

Refunds & Cancellations

Confirmed bookings are generally non-refundable.

If Potabella Studio cancels a session and cannot provide a suitable replacement, you may choose a studio credit or refund for the affected session.

If an experience does not reach its minimum enrolment, we may reschedule or cancel it. If this happens, confirmed families will be offered a transfer, studio credit or refund.

Arrival & Pick-Up

Please arrive 5–10 minutes before the session and collect your child promptly when it ends.

Unless a programme is specifically described as a parent-child experience, sessions are designed for children to participate independently.

If someone other than the registered parent or caregiver will collect your child, please let us know in advance.

Making & Safety

Making can get messy. Please send children in comfortable clothing suitable for paint, clay, glue and other studio materials.

Children may use real materials and age-appropriate tools such as glue gun, scissors and cutboard cutter under facilitator guidance. Children are expected to follow studio safety instructions and treat the space, tools, materials and one another with care.

Please let us know about any allergies, medical considerations or support needs relevant to your child's safe and comfortable participation.

Photography

We sometimes document children's making processes and work in the studio.

Identifiable photographs or videos of your child will only be used where the appropriate consent has been provided. Photography consent is collected separately during registration and does not affect your child's ability to participate.

A Shared Studio

Potabella is a place for curiosity, experimentation and making.

We don't expect everything to work the first time. Trying, changing and beginning again are part of the process.

We simply ask everyone to help keep the studio a safe and respectful place where ideas can grow.
